Project Background
RMB Hydroseeding was initially contacted by Thruxton Circuit’s contractor to hydroseed a large area that had recently been re-profiled. The area ran alongside the race track and our client required the vegetation to establish in time for their 50 year anniversary race event which was due to be televised at the end of June 2018. This project was completed in early May across two consecutive days.
Solution
Due to the need for rapid establishment we recommended an amenity grass seed mixture that contained Italian Ryegrass for rapid establishment and Clover to help build fertility in low nutrient soil. Due to the soil lacking nutrients on site the seed mix was supplemented with an organic fertiliser which added nutrients to the soil and encouraged bio diversity in the soil.
Outcome
The application was a success and the vegetation established in time for Thruxton Circuit’s televised race.
About Sustane 4-6-4 Organic Fertiliser
Sustane 4-6-4 is a natural organic starter and maintenance fertiliser. Sustane 4-6-4 works by replenishing the soil with a rich supply of humus (stabilised organic matter) and the essential nutrients required for sound and long term fertility programs. Sustane provides a combination of slow release nutrients and organic substances that provide all of the essential nutrients required for quality growth.
